Week focuses: Meat and Vegetables
Breakfast:
For breakfast this morning we had delicious bacon from the Codman Family Farm, less than 100 miles away from us. The bacon was thicker than regular, and had a more smokey taste. We also had fresh eggs from CFF, as well as bread (baked within 100 miles, but with materials outside of New England.
Lunch:
We ate delicious sauteed chard from Wilsons (100 miles), with cheese (not local) and the same bread as breakfast. We had amazing fresh strawberries to top it off (100 miles)
